Kids having fun learning yoga at the Pop Up – Iyashi Wellness Kids event in 2015

JUST FOR KIDS!!

School is about to resume and stress levels are going to rise again!  Many children will begin to have tummy issues, sleep issues, and/or emotional issues.  Some will get sick.  All from just going back to school.  What to do, what to do?  Wellness mom-experts Christie, Tracey, and me to the rescue!  Bring your children to learn from the three of us how to meditate, be mindful, eat right and do some yoga moves so that they can learn self-awareness and self-regulation techniques to help them manage the stresses that come with going back to school.  A healthy group of children makes for a healthy community and we want the Westside to be a strong, healthy, happy community!

Luriko Ozeki, L.Ac., Physician of Asian Medicine, Pediatric Specialist, and Owner/Founder of Iyashi Wellness, will teach your kids the meaning of Eating Right and Eating Healthy and tips on how to stay healthy and cold/flu free.

Christie Savitt, MA, founder of Blue Bird Behavior Resources, will teach children special yoga moves to help them get out of their heads and into their bodies, allowing them to be more present in the moment.

Tracey Lenac, MAEd, founder of Soul Centered Kids, will teach your children how to practice mindfulness and child-appropriate meditation techniques to help them cope with modern day stresses of being a child.
